After attending the University of the North Carolina School of the Arts for drama, Blythe studied Advanced Scene Study with Austin Pendleton at The HB Studio in New York and Scott Freeman at the Scott Freeman Acting Studio. She trained at the Linklater Center for Voice and Language and, privately, with Rowena Balos for voice and speech. Blythe took Classical Styles at The Antaeus Company in LA before becoming a company member. Having studied verbal and physical improv with Master Teacher Bob Francesconi at UNCSA, Blythe continued her improv training at The Upright Citizens Brigade. Blythe is currently taking Master Scene Study with Deborah Aquila at Aquila Morong Studio. She believes in the continual journey to hone her craft and amass tools for her coaching. Blythe is also a trained singer and dancer.
